Durham Region Senior Games is operated under the auspices of the Ontario Senior Games Association. Durham Region is district 13 of that organization. It covers a large area, stretching from Lake Simcoe to Lake Ontario and running along a 65 km stretch of Hwy 401. In it's southern portion, it includes the municipalities of Clarington, Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax and Pickering while the townships of Uxbridge, Brock and Scugog comprise the northern area.
