ACTIFEST2010 RESULTS

 

  Actifest2010, the provincial senior games championship, was

 

 

held in  Oshawa from August 10th to the12th. With entries in 29 of

 

 

 

the 58 competitions, Durham seniors medaled in 15 events,

 

 

winning 10 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.

    Marty Schieman - 5th in Golf - Men's Calloway

 

 

  With our 15 medals, Durham finished on top of the medal

 

 

standings. London was second with 14 and Brampton third with

 

 

 

11. Thirty-six Districts participated in the games which take place

 

 

 

every second year. Brampton is hosting the next Actifest in 2012.

 

 

  The Durham seniors can now turn their attention to the Winter

 

 

 

 

Games with the DRSG scheduled to take place in November.

 

 

 

 

Winners will qualify for Winterfest 2011 which is being held next

 

 

 

 

 February in Haliburton.
